Jelena previously led the Westgate Clinic team but moved into a non-clinical role as Manager of People & Culture in 2022. She continues to lead our admin team while managing our people and culture across all sites. Jelena looks after our business HR, development, health and wellness. Jelena's background started out as a physiotherapist in musculoskeletal private practice and became a registered Hand Therapist in 2016. She has been working for Hands On since 2014. Jelena is a mum/taxi driver to three girls, loves the outdoors and especially enjoys mountain biking, travel and spending time with friends and family.

Lisa Spear

Lisa originally joined Hands On Rehabilitation in 2012. She now (very efficiently!) manages the accounts for all of Hands On and can also be seen at our Akoranga branch several days a week. Prior to joining our team, Lisa worked for many years in recruitment both in Auckland and further afield in London. Lisa lives in Browns Bay with her husband and three school-aged children. She enjoys all the North Shore has to offer, especially boating, running and keeping fit.

Fiona Fox

Having worked on the front desk at various Hands On clinics since 2014, Fiona took on the role of Administration Specialist in 2022 – focussing on our Accounts Receivable and Admin training.  Prior to joining Hands On, she spent 15 years in the banking industry. In her time away from work, Fiona helps her husband in the running of their family’s Automotive business and enjoys time with friends and family (including her two spoilt fur babies)

Penny Dunthorne

Akoranga Clinic

Coming from several years of admin in a private physio practice, Penny joined Hands on Rehab at our Akoranga clinic in January 2022 as fulltime administrator.

A North shore girl born & raised, she enjoys spending family time with her four amazing boys - all grown up.

In her time away from work she loves the outdoors - Horses are a passion, as well as kayaking, fishing & great walks.

Kellie Cochrane

Albany Clinic

Administration

Kellie joined the team at our Albany clinic as Full Time Administrator in July 2022. Previously working as a dental assistant/receptionist. A true kiwi, Kellie enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls by finding new adventures to explore within our beautiful Auckland/ Tamaki Makaurau. She also has a passion for Formula 1 so will often be found snuggled up on the couch watching the race (sometimes even at 3am) with her two ragdolls

Tracy Drumm

Having previously worked for 10 years as reception/ administrator for a Motel complex, Tracy made the move into the Health care sector in 2019 prior to joining the team at our Albany Clinic in August 2022.

Away from work she enjoys keeping fit & spending time with family & friends.

Michelle Knight

Drury & Papakura Clinics

Administration

Michelle works at our Drury clinic, providing reception and admin support. She joined the team in 2019. Michelle lives locally in Bombay, and has two adult/teenage children. She enjoys entertaining with family and friends, boating and snow skiing.

Sanitoa Tuipelehake

Sanitoa joined Hands on Rehab in January 2024. Sanitoa has worked as a medical administrator previously and is enjoying learning new things and getting to know the Hands On team. Outside of work she loves spending time with her partner and beautiful little girl and also loves cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

Hemara Chong Nee

Manukau Clinic

Hemara joined the Hands On Rehabilitation team at the end of May 2021 as a full-time administrator and receptionist at our Manukau clinic. She was born and raised in Samoa, and then moved here to Aotearoa in 2009. She enjoys quality time with her husband, two young boys, families and friends. Prior to this, Hemara was working part-time as a clinic receptionist and administrator at a physiotherapy clinic for 2 and a half years and is now expanding her career in a full-time role

Angela Hilliam

Red Beach Clinic

Angie works at our Red Beach clinic, and joined Hands On in 2016. Always on the go, Angie also instructs Les Mills RPM and Sprint , inspiring others on their fitness journey. She lives in Orewa with her husband. In their spare time they love to tramp the great outdoors of New Zealand.

Kendall Milham

Westgate Clinic

Kendall joined the Hands On team in Westgate in April 2022, having previously worked in the trucking and transport industry. A born and raised Westie, Kendall enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, and the occasional car show.

Natasha Allen

Whangarei Clinic

Administration

With a background as a PA and Administrator in Real Estate, the Whangarei team welcomed Natasha as full time administrator in May 2024 Natasha is born and raised in Northland with 2 adult boys and 3 grandchildren. Many days are spent on the water or at the Bach most weekends. She thoroughly enjoys a good shop and ladies' lunch and can’t wait to meet you in clinic

Adam Banks

Administration

Having played hockey most of his life, Adam was drawn to study physiotherapy following his own experiences with sport injuries.
Currently studying at AUT, Adam joined the Hands On team as part time administrator in August 2022.

Adam enjoys snowboarding – and actually pretty much any sport as he’s very competitive and likes to keep fit.

Also a little side note, he loves cats.

Amber Moni

Administration

Born and raised on the Hibiscus Coast, Amber is currently in her third year of studying physiotherapy at AUT. Having played netball since a very young age, she now plays premier netball. From all her sporting injuries, she found it natural to want to become a physiotherapist and is loving her study!.

Outside of work Amber loves to keep fit & active, as well as spending time with family & friends

Laura Thornton

Administration

Laura was born and raised in Cambridge and moved to Auckland to study physiotherapy in 2022. She joined the Hands On team in 2024 as part time administrator while studying.

Growing up she played a wide range of sports which is how she was introduced into the world of physiotherapy. Laura loves spending any free time with friends and family, especially her dog.
